YOUR MISSION

As a Back-End Developer, your main role is to guide the company in the effective management of its information flows by developing customized solutions that match its business operations. You will be responsible for analyzing needs, recommending appropriate technological solutions, developing them, and ensuring the continuous maintenance and improvement of the organization's various enterprise applications. In addition, you will provide essential support to internal users. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze the organization's structural requirements and recommend effective solutions.
• Write detailed specifications based on business needs.
• Develop, test, and implement software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Provide ongoing support for developed systems and their users.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the entire enterprise application portfolio to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement adapted solutions.
• Propose and implement improvements to various applications based on feedback from internal stakeholders.
• Document processes and system configurations for future reference and training needs.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
• Automate repetitive workflows and use AI in daily tasks.
• Use AI agents (for research, coding, testing, maintenance) to accelerate execution and focus on high-value decisions.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, particularly with Python, JavaScript, Java, or equivalent technologies.
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs, web services, as well as data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.
• Knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms for integrations (OAuth 2.0, API Keys, JWT, etc.).
• Experience in integrating enterprise systems and applications.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL language.
• Experience with source code management tools (Git) and development best practices.
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies, including security.
• Proficiency with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to accelerate design, prototyping, and feature delivery.
• Ability to analyze and model business processes involving multiple systems and applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingualism (French and English). Advanced intermediate level in English required to provide support and training in both languages.

Assets

• Experience with integration platforms (iPaaS) such as Celigo, Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or another enterprise ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and cloud environments (Azure or GCP).
• Experience in monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting integrations.
• Knowledge of visualization and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Looker, or similar tools.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or modern integration platforms.
