YOUR TEAM
Behind the scenes of each project, Administrative Services ensure that every project is ready to take center stage. Involved at various stages of a project’s lifecycle, they support and assist creative and production teams. Throughout the year, the Finance team supports each department in managing their projects and ensures proper tracking of schedules and other performance indicators. They thrive on the diversity of projects, the variety of production cycles, and the wide range of clients. You will join a team of dedicated professionals known for their exceptional team spirit and collaborative mindset.
YOUR MISSION
As a key pillar of compensation, you will act as a conductor between Operations, Human Resources, and Accounting. Your role goes far beyond data entry: you are the guardian of fairness and compliance regarding our most valuable asset—our talent.
In carrying out your duties, you will work closely with the Human Resources department.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Payroll processes
- Responsible for administrative tasks related to employee compensation and employer-paid benefits, in accordance with established processes and internal controls.
- Track hours entered in Wrike (timesheet management system) and record them for payroll purposes.
- Complete all required procedures to issue payroll in Nethris and ADP (Quebec: approximately 400 employees; United States: approximately 5 employees) and verify payroll reports.
- Coordinate with international payroll providers as required.
- Prepare payroll journal reconciliations to the general ledger in close collaboration with the Finance and Accounting teams.
- Perform year-end payroll preparation and produce T4 slips and Relevé 1 forms.
- Calculate taxable benefits.
- Propose continuous improvement initiatives for payroll processes.
- Support teams in maintaining the training bank and tracking training eligible under the 1% Workforce Skills Development law.
- Perform any other general or job-related duties required.
- Monitor and stay current with applicable regulations.
Employee record management
- Ensure administrative follow-up on employee records (status, salary, terminations, leaves, contracts, illness, etc.).
- Participate in the development of HR management procedures and processes.
- Enroll employees in and manage participation in group insurance plans and group RRSPs.
- Coordinate workplace accident files and CNESST cases.
- Produce statistical and reporting documents.
- Internal training and communication.
- Respond to employee questions related to payroll and employment status (termination, maternity/paternity leave, etc.).
- Inform employees about compensation packages and available benefits.
Collaboration with the Finance department
- Ensure payroll accuracy and proper data processing.
- Prepare and balance all payroll and vacation accrual entries.
- Reconcile payroll adjustments.
- Perform analyses and validations and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Nethris and ADP (or other payroll systems) and certain accounting software.
- Spoken and written bilingualism.
- Knowledge of labor standards and employee benefits.
- Experience with NetSuite (an asset).
- Accreditation from the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset).
- Experience with international payrolls (France, Japan, United States) (an asset).
- Knowledgeof the artistic or creative industry (an asset).
