YOUR TEAM

As a member of our Procurement team, you will work behind the scenes on various projects to ensure each one is highlighted. Intervening at different phases of a project's life cycle, you will offer advice, support, and guidance to the creative, technical, and project teams to ensure the success of our productions.


YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Director - Global Procurement & Partnership and under the direct supervision of the Logistics Team Lead, you will participate in the management of Moment Factory's logistics operations.

You will execute the logistics strategy, covering the management of Moment Factory's warehouse activities in Montreal. You will also coordinate receptions and shipments with internal and external teams as well as various regional and national transports.

You will collaborate daily with the Logistics Team Lead and buyers serving the project teams.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Domestic Transportation

  • Coordinate domestic transportation.

  • Consolidate equipment in Montreal for export.

  • Coordinate inter-supplier transportation.

  • Ensure the delivery of orders for Moment Factory.

International Transportation

  • Execute the transportation strategy (specific to each project/business unit) shared by the team lead in collaboration with the Technical Director, the Set Design team, and the Procurement department.

  • Coordinate transportation (road, air, sea).

  • Manage the consolidation of equipment for projects in Montreal and internationally.

  • Produce and verify document compliance in partnership with the production team.

Warehouse Management

  • Ensure the management of Moment Factory warehouses (internal/external) domestically and eventually internationally.

  • Manage the reception and shipping at Moment Factory supplier warehouses (internal/external).

  • Ensure the management of internal and external demonstrations.

  • Pilot the management of inventory (packaging material and warehousing tools).

Continuous Improvement

  • Improve management, coordination, and monitoring tools.

  • Participate in the review of tasks related to logistics, production, and procurement.

  • Implement continuous improvement solutions to optimize the entire logistics process.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES

  • A DCS (Diploma of College Studies) in Operations and Logistics Management or any other training related to transport logistics.

  • Between 2 to 4 years of experience in transport logistics or warehouse management.

  • Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written (you will regularly communicate with English-speaking clients in this role).

  • Possess a valid driver's license.

  • Mastery of an ERP warehouse management software.

  • Mastery of an ERP warehouse management software, an asset.

  • Experience in events or audiovisual production, an asset.

  • Possess a forklift license, an asset.
