YOUR MISSION

Your primary role as Originals’ Sales and Business Development Manager is to provide support to the team’s Business Development and Marketing Director in various tasks, which include exploring potential business opportunities for Originals, managing existing business relationships, as well as tracking the success of each project. According to the strategic plan, you will play a crucial role in creating new business development opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and following up with potential national and international clients. In addition to managing business offers, you will develop strategic product plans and attend various networking events with the Director to maintain company growth.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy, Business Development, and Sales for Augmented Games
  • Identify and analyze key market segments for Augmented Games: theme parks, entertainment venues (FECs), brand activations, shopping centers, museums, and more.
  • Conduct constant competitive and technological monitoring of immersive experiences, interactive entertainment, and location-based experiences (LBE).
  • Develop and maintain a network of potential clients, technology partners, and influencers in the entertainment and related industries.
  • Propose innovative acquisition strategies and business models (licensing, partnership, ticketing, etc.) tailored to augmented game projects.
  • In connection with the development of the Augmented Games product, ensure effective coordination and communication between production, creative teams, and international offices for all new opportunities.
  • Maintain and optimize the business opportunity tracking system (CRM) with relevant performance indicators for the unit.
  • Client Relations and Consultative Sales
  • Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, understanding their business objectives and translating them into potential game concepts.
  • Collaborate with producers and creative directors to prepare impactful presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of a Moment Factory gaming experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and strategic partners.
  • Participate in the negotiation of service offers and contract review, ensuring that the goals of both the client and Moment Factory are aligned.
  • Representation and Prospecting
  • Actively prospect new clients in targeted markets.
  • Represent Moment Factory and the Augmented Games product at conferences, trade shows, and industry events (e.g., GDC, IAAPA, etc.).
  • Organize and lead strategic development missions to explore new markets or partnerships.

YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Video Game Production, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, preferably in the video game, interactive entertainment, creative technology, or location-based experience (LBE) industries.
  • Experience in managing software, product, and ticketing licenses is a major asset.
  • An established network of contacts in at least one of the following sectors: theme parks, international brands (brand experiences), family entertainment centers (FECs), or video game production.
  • Good knowledge of business intelligence tools.
  • Excellent understanding of business models related to immersive, gamified experiences and amusement center operations is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of interactive technologies (AR, projection mapping, sensors, etc.) and current trends in gaming and mixed realities.
  • Proven experience in selling high-value creative and technological concepts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical and creative concepts to a lay audience.
  • Knowledge of and/or interest in the field of AI.
  • Essential bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Pipedrive), Keynote, and the Google/MS Office suite.

  • Proficiency or strong interest in artificial intelligence tools aimed at increasing efficiency in prospecting and business development.
